📦 Order Cancellations:
At Cakes & Treats, every cake is handcrafted with love and begins production shortly after your order is placed.

You may cancel your order within 20 minutes of placing it. After this window, cancellations may not be accepted.

During peak days (such as Valentine’s Day and New Year's), no cancellations are allowed once the order is placed.

If accepted, a 10% cancellation fee will apply. Refunds will be credited to your original payment method within 10–12 business days.
💳 Failed Transactions:

If your payment was deducted but the order didn’t go through, don’t worry!

We’ll process a full refund within 7–10 business days.

Please feel free to place a fresh order once the issue is resolved.
🍰 Returns & Refunds (Product Issues):

We encourage you to inspect your cake at delivery. If you are unhappy with the look or quality, you can refuse delivery and request a refund on the spot.

Once the order is accepted by you or your representative, we cannot offer refunds for damages, as handling becomes your responsibility.

If you’ve tasted the cake and feel the quality is not as expected, please write to us at [email] with photos and order details. We may offer a refund or replacement, subject to verification.

All complaints must be raised within 4 hours of delivery.
🔁 Exchanges:

As cakes are perishable and personalized, we do not offer exchanges once delivered.
🧁 Out of Stock Situations:

If a flavor or ingredient is unavailable, we’ll contact you to offer alternate options.

If the alternative isn’t acceptable, a 100% refund will be issued to your original payment method.
