Return &Refund POlicy

📦 Order Cancellations:

At Cakes & Treats, every cake is handcrafted with love and begins production shortly after your order is placed.

  • You may cancel your order within 20 minutes of placing it. After this window, cancellations may not be accepted.

  • During peak days (such as Valentine’s Day and New Year's), no cancellations are allowed once the order is placed.

  • If accepted, a 10% cancellation fee will apply. Refunds will be credited to your original payment method within 10–12 business days.

💳 Failed Transactions:

  • If your payment was deducted but the order didn’t go through, don’t worry!

  • We’ll process a full refund within 7–10 business days.

  • Please feel free to place a fresh order once the issue is resolved.

🍰 Returns & Refunds (Product Issues):

  • We encourage you to inspect your cake at delivery. If you are unhappy with the look or quality, you can refuse delivery and request a refund on the spot.

  • Once the order is accepted by you or your representative, we cannot offer refunds for damages, as handling becomes your responsibility.

  • If you’ve tasted the cake and feel the quality is not as expected, please write to us at [email] with photos and order details. We may offer a refund or replacement, subject to verification.

  • All complaints must be raised within 4 hours of delivery.

🔁 Exchanges:

  • As cakes are perishable and personalized, we do not offer exchanges once delivered.

🧁 Out of Stock Situations:

  • If a flavor or ingredient is unavailable, we’ll contact you to offer alternate options.

  • If the alternative isn’t acceptable, a 100% refund will be issued to your original payment method.
